So if you have a Chopper, Ghost, or a Warthog and you see a Warlord, Spartan, or Kinsano readying up to use their Y ability, just ram them and it will cancel it as well as reset the cooldown on their ability. Any unit that can ram can cancel Hero Y abilities. When pushing on a base with turrets, use your Y abilities on them in order to stop them from firing for a time.

It's something that a lot of people neglect. Always remember to use Nightingale's smoke Y ability. Repeat this as many times as your opponent will allow. As long as they don't target it down (which they probably won't have time to do as they just knocked down your shield), your shield will go back up. Once your shield goes down, recycle the generator and let the other one finish building. If your enemy is attacking a shielded base, start building another shield generator immediately. A very good use of this command is to hold a marine at each base site in order to see when the enemy is expanding. Any selected units will go to the location you told them to and stay there, regardless of local or all units commands. Hold position, a very useful command, can be used by holding down right trigger and hitting left bumper twice. An icon will appear with the number of their tech. In order to tell your enemy's tech level without scouting, just hit A on their main. Message the mod team if you're hosting an event!
